Creating playgroup communities

Welcoming, inclusive playgroups for children aged 0–8 with a disability or developmental concerns, and their families. Available Australia-wide—no formal diagnosis needed!

Autism Queensland is the lead agency for the PlayConnect+ consortium

The PlayConnect+ consortium comprises state and territory playgroup associations and the autism peak bodies of South Australia, Western Australia, and New South Wales. This service is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability, and Ageing.

​Autism Queensland and PlayConnect+ playgroups acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which we live and work. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging as we walk together towards participation, opportunity, and choice.
