Delivered by the state and territory playgroup associations in a consortium led by Autism Queensland, PlayConnect+ is a fully-funded, inclusive playgroup program for children with disability or developmental concerns age 0-8, their families, carers, and siblings. This service is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability, and Ageing.
No formal diagnosis is required to attend a playgroup.
Led by qualified facilitators, sessions take place right across Australia in metropolitan, regional, rural and remote communities (as well as online). Join from anywhere in Australia!

First Nations children and families are given priority access to playgroups in regional, rural, and remote playgroup locations.
Playgroup sessions typically run for 1.5–2 hours.
All sessions are grounded in evidence-based playgroup principles, creating safe, welcoming spaces where children can learn, grow and connect — and families can feel understood and supported.

Our online playgroups run weekly during the school term. There may also be additional sessions held during school holidays. These sessions are subject to change, so we encourage families to keep checking back for available sessions.
